We all know that Primark has got it going on in stores, but what if we want to keep going from the comfort of an easy chair? Bad news, store fans! Primark does not offer an online or physical catalogue for shopping from home. In my opinion, they are missing a huge opportunity to line their pockets, but according to the amount of foot traffic I see in their many Primark locations, I’m sure the company is not worried about their bottom line.
For a company whose target demographic is young and hip, they are really losing cool points by not participating fully in the Internet age. Competitor H&M has already entered e-commerce in Europe and has announced plans to begin doing so in the United States, as well. Don’t get left out in the cold, Primark! This site is updated frequently with tips on how and where to buy Primark online, and offers great pictures, videos, prices and details of clothing offered by the retailer.
No Official Store Catalogue Online
What’s your next best option? Primark shares a lookbook to preview top picks from each new season. These glossy photos include stylish pieces worn by models, much like the images that would appear in a Primark catalogue. The key difference is that the lookbook is meant as a sneak peek that tantalizes shoppers into stopping in to load up on goods and swipe a credit card in person, while a catalogue would allow people to actually order items they desired from home. The paper catalogue and mail or phone in ordering system seems so antiquated in an era when online shopping is so prevalent, but oddly, Primark does not even offer this option.

So now you know the Primark Catalogue is a mythical legend much like a well dressed dragon (everyone knows dragons have no fashion sense). Yet, the legend persists in part due to wishful thinking and in part due to spam sites that just write what people want to read, often in broken English. If you’re craving a chance to see some of the pics from the latest lookbook, stay tuned. We have the Summer 2012 collection with commentary right here!
Starting with the best from the 2012 High Summer Primark collection, we have a playful summer dress that strikes the perfect balance between fun and sophistication. The bold pattern of the skirt portion is contained and offset with a color block blouse that echoes two shades of blue from the bottom half. Primark went crazy this season with Hawaiian prints and some went drastically wrong, in my opinion. However, this dress is just right for date night, indoors or out.
This photo shoot occurred in Miami, Florida. I imagine the model was excited to visit such a sunny destination known for its nightlife. Can you picture her pretty jaw dropping when all the vans pull up to an old motel? Sadly, the motel room backdrop is only enhancing the low-class look of this next outfit, my winner for “last place” from the Summer 2012 catalogue.
Here we have a ‘trucker chic’ look complete with 80s style acid wash denim vest and flamingo pink eyelet skirt. The bikini top worn as shirt and airbrushed trucker hat complete the look. I hope someone was just being nostalgic with the hat. I think one time around with trucker hats was enough for the 21st century. It was Britney Spears that made those big- that should tell you how long ago that was in pop culture/fashion time…
